Northern Virginia (NOVA) Spray Cancellations

On November 15, 2023, Club member Jerry Weirich presented the results of his original research into the spray cancels of Northern Virginia (NOVA). The post office at Merrifield, VA is one of the USPS facilities that tests new spray cancellation processes and types, as such the postmarked NOVA mail is on the leading edge of the latest cancellation and marking innovations.
